Kelli Stegeman is a general assignment reporter. She joined 27 News in September 2007 as a reporter/producer. Kelli was born and raised in the Sunflower State in Olathe. She traveled "south of the border" to become an Oklahoma Sooner where she graduated in 2006 with a degree in journalism and a minor in sociology.


While in college, Kelli worked several internships including the ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City and Inside Edition in New York City. Kelli anchored, reported and produced for OU Nightly, Oklahoma's top-rated college broadcast.


After college, Kelli took a year off to travel Europe where she taught English to an Italian family and backpacked the continent. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, running, spending time with family and friends, playing with her dog and traveling. She is an avid Sooner fan and loves the football season! Kelli is excited to start her journalism career at 27 News and can’t wait to hear what Northeast Kansas has to say!
