Funeral service set for local man killed in weekend motorcycle crash

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) - A funeral service will be held this Saturday for a Berryton man killed this past weekend after he was involved in a crash on his motorcycle involving a FedEx truck. 

Anthony “A.J.” Forshee, 28, passed away Tuesday at a local hospital. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene on May 19. Family and friends will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.

Forshee was an employee at Edelman-Lyon Company as a service technician, according to his obituary. 
He was a member of Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene and the Shawnee Lake Boat & Ski Club.

According to his obituary, his organs were donated to the Midwest Transplant Network. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society or Midwest Transplant Network.
