Nate's career at KSNT started in May 1997. After moving his way through the sports ranks as a reporter, weekend sports anchor and sports director, Nate switched gears and began anchoring the news in 2001. In December 2006 Nate was named news director. As part of his expanded role, Nate anchors Kansas First News at 5 and 5:30p.
Nate graduated from the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism in December 1997. His college days consisted of working at the school's student-run broadcast stations and running track for the Jayhawks. Today, Nate takes part in several community events. He serves on the Junior Achievement Board of Directors.
During his time at KSNT Nate has had the opportunity to run with the Olympic torch, star in a Martina McBride music video and interview former NBC News Anchor Tom Brokaw. Outside of work, Nate enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and cheering on the Jayhawks.
