The NBC Hap Dumont World Series finished day two of pool play at Lake Shawnee and Hummer Sports Park.

On Sunday, the Midwest Bruins defeated the Oklahoma Dirtbags 6-4.  They advance in bracket play for the 18U tournament.

Also, the Topeka Golden Giants 18U team was in action.  They fell 2-1 against the Wichita Reds on an appeal in the 7th inning.

The Golden Giants baserunner from third was called out for leaving early when tagging up on a fly ball.

Both the 17U and 18U tournaments will continue through Wednesday in Topeka.
