There's no question that Rock Creek is run-first oriented team.  Last year, the Mustangs ran the ball nearly 50 times a contest and rushed for more than 3,500 yards on the season.

"Well every year our goal is to finish in the top of the Mid-East League and if you can do that you can be pretty successful," said Head Coach Mike Beam who enters his 18th season at Rock Creek.

The Mustangs return 9 starters from a year ago that finished the season at 9-3.

"I have to say our strength is the offensive line, we have a lot of returners," said Senior Quarterback Josh Camacho. "Some big fellas that have been working out all summer and ready to push some people around."

Rock Creek enters its second season in Class 4A and will look to compete in the Mid-East League after a second place finish a year ago.

"Our goal is to get a Mid-East League championship finally, haven't had one in a long time," said Senior All-State Offensive Tackle, Jared Hawkins. "Go on into districts and deep into the playoffs."
