Ken Warren, managing director of The Land Institute, Salina, will lead a discussion on the geologic scaffolding that forms the base for the glorious landform we call the Flint Hills. The various rock types, geologic structures and rich mix of fossils make the area a significant laboratory for earth scientists. This session will explore the significant features and history of this natural treasure.
