Police Shoot Dogs
A Topeka police officer had to shoot two pit-bulls after one of them charged at the officer.
Around 7 Friday morning a maintence man who works at Topeka Collegiate School noticed the dogs in front of the school when he arrived at work. He tried to shoo them away by clapping his hands..but called animal control and police when the dogs began barking and snarling. The officer killed one of the dogs and wounded the other when they charged. The dogs also charged a Topeka West high school student who was walking to school. No one was hurt..and the owner of the dogs..who lives near the school....was cited. |
