A Berryton man who was arrested last week on sixty-eight counts of rape appeared in court today.

Thirty-nine year old Ben Hinchsliff appeared at 1:30 pm today in a Riley County courtroom via a video monitor from jail.

During the appearance today a judge ruled Hinchsliff will remain in state custody on a $100,000 bond.

His next court appearance is set for July 15th at 1:00 pm when a preliminary hearing will be set.
