K2 looks like marijuana and when smoked acts like marijuana, but it's legal.
"I think it's fair to say it's a legal form of marijuana," Rob Bussinger a K2 proponent said.
It's caught the eye of local law enforcement who say usage is on the rise in Northeast Kansas.
"At this point we're at an awareness level," Sgt. Jay Simecka with the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office said. "K2 is a legal substance so they can not be taken into custody for simple possession."
