A Soldier was found dead on post Wednesday afternoon.
Around 3 p.m. March 10, the Fort Riley police station received a call voicing concerns about a Soldier. Fort Riley Police initiated a search and a short time later found the Soldier unresponsive in a vehicle which was located on a tank trail behind the Commissary.
An ambulance was called to the scene, and the Soldier was transported to IACH where he was pronounced dead at approximately 4 p.m. The circumstances surrounding his death are being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division and the Fort Riley Police.
