More than two years after the plans were announced.....people in the Capital City have a new place to shop.

Members with the Topeka Chamber of Commerce helped cut the ribbon on the new Hy Vee Supermarket.

This is the first Hy Vee store to be built in Topeka.

The new store offers all sorts of things to shoppers..including organic foods..pet supplies..even a staff dietitian.

This Friday will be the *offical grand opening of the store.
