Zoo Welcomes Golden Eagle Chicks
The Topeka Zoo has two new feathered additions. The Golden eagle chicks hatched on April 26th and 28th and are currently sharing space with their parents in the eagle exhibit.
The chicks aren't visible to the public just yet. In 1971 the Topeka Zoo became the first zoo to sucessfully hatch golden eagles in captivity. |
