People turned out to remember fallen law enforcement officers in an annual memorial service.

Today is the 26th year people have gathered at the statehouse to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifce for the State of Kansas.

This year Macksville police officer Tim Buckman was added to the list of 258 names.

Buckman was killed last year while trying to warn residents in Greensburg of the approaching deadly tornado.

His family says it's an honor to have his name added to the list.
