Police are asking for the public's assistance in recovering a communication device taken during a robbery to an individual last week.

The robbery occurred at about 9:15 p.m. last Wednesday at 225 North West Gordon.

The female victim told police that two unknown white males battered her until she lost consciousness.

The victim described one suspect as about 40 years of age, approximately 6' 3", medium build with a long goatee, wearing a "Harley Davidson" t-shirt and a blue jean jacket without sleeves.

The second suspect was described as a white male, late 30's with a shaved head and a beard.

One of the items taken was a "Dynavox" communication device. The device is dark blue and resembles a laptop computer.
