A burglar is arrested after being caught in the act by the Topeka Police Department.

Thirty year old Jason Chambers of Topeka was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on burglary and attempted theft charges.

Around 1:00 am this morning police were called to an apartment in the seven hundred block of SW Topeka Blvd about a possible break-in.

When, they arrived they heard glass breaking and saw Chambers run from the area.

Police eventually caught and arrested him in the 7th and Tyler area.
