Morrowille Area Continues to be Plagued by Monday's Weather

The first big snowfall of the season in Northeast Kansas is proving to be a bit troublesome.

Monday's snowflakes caused power outages across the viewing area and some spots around Washington, Marshall and Clay Counties are still left without power.

The general manager of Bluestem Electric Cooperative says the worst hit areas are around Morrowville and Lynn and after getting out to survey the damage and encountering new problem areas, the latest estimates show some residents could be in the dark until Friday.
