Widespread rain for the end of the week

Temperatures falling into the upper 20s and lower 30s tonight under a clear to partly cloudy sky.

Mostly sunny early, then increasing clouds on Thursday with a high in the lower 60s for once last day in this stretch.

Showers and a few storms will spread over the area Thursday night, Friday into part of Saturday, as well. Highs fall into the 40s and 1" to 2" of rain expected for much of the area. By late Saturday, the northwestern counties of the viewing area could see a transition over to snow, but most of the precipitation will have cleared through by that point.
