Officials identify person killed in house fire near Lake Shawnee

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) - Fire officials have now identified the person killed in a house fire this past weekend near Lake Shawnee. 

The Kansas State Fire Marshal's office identified the victim Monday as 63-year-old Sheila Neal. 

First reports of the deadly fire came in just before 5:30 Saturday morning at 3404 SE Peck with crews battling flames until 10 a.m. 

The cause of the fire is believed to have been intentionally set. 

The cause of Neal's death is still undetermined, pending autopsy results. 

No suspects are being sought at this time.
