LeCompton Driver Dreams of NASCAR
If you're a fan of street stock dirt track racing, then you've probably heard the name Troy Baumgartner. The LeCompton native has recently taken a huge step in his quest to become a professional NASCAR driver. After seeing an article about the Lafferty Motorsports Driver Development Program on the internet, Baumgartner sent a resume and the North Carolina-based team invited him out for a private test. Baumgartner passed, and just a couple weeks ago, Lafferty invited him onto the team for its development program.
