(16) Kansas Survives a Thriller in Ames 35-33
Iowa State gave the Jayhawks all they could handle on Saturday, jumping out a 20-0 lead at halftime.
(17) Kansas (4-1, 1-0 Big 12) scored 28 unanswered points to start the 2nd half. Quarterback Todd Reesing went 18-26 for 319 yards and 3 TDs. "We came out that second half and really started clicking on all cylinders showing what we can do when we're all on the same page," Reesing, said. "But that first half was probably the worst collective half I've been a part of since I've been here." KU will be back at home on Saturday for Homecoming against Colorado. |
