Chiefs Shut Out by Carolina 34-0

The lone bright spot for the Chiefs was a 6-yard catch by Tony Gonzalez. That reception made Gonzalez the All-Time leader in receiving yards by a tight end. He already holds the record for most Touchdowns by a tight end.

"That was probably the worst, the worst I've ever been involved with in my professional career," Gonzalez, said. "We couldn't get anything going. Offense, defense, special teams it was embarrassing. They blew us out."

However, the Chiefs lost 34-0 at Carolina and fall to (1-4) on the 2008 season.

"We were a confident team after last week's game and then we come here and act like we haven't played before," Head Coach Herm Edwards, said. "It just wasn't any good. Coaching, playing, anything. The good thing is we have two weeks before we play a game."

Kansas City is off next Sunday for their bye week.
