Pop up shower or storm possible, better storm chances later in the week

A few isolated showers and storms have popped up in northeastern areas. Otherwise, most spots stay dry tonight as the sky continues to clear. Overnight lows are expected to fall back into the 60s for tonight.

Plenty of sunshine is on tap for Thursday, as temperatures max out in the 80s once again.

Better chances for scattered showers and storms return for Friday, and spill over into Saturday. As of right now, there is the potential for some of these storms to be strong to severe. It's a forecast that the KSNT Storm Track weather team will continue to keep a close eye on.

Otherwise, temperatures climb back into the upper 80s to near 90° to close out the week, before some cooler upper 70s and lower 80s return to start off the new week next week.
