Becky Taylor is weekend morning meteorologist for the KSNT Storm Track weather team.
She’s lived in Kansas for most of her life, and grew up chasing thunderstorms with her dad. This sparked a lifelong passion for the weather, specifically the spring severe storms of Kansas. She hopes to pass this love on to her daughters someday.
Becky graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in atmospheric science in 2015. Even though she graduated as a Jayhawk, her loyalty lies elsewhere. She spent her first two years of college at Kansas State University and will always be a Wildcat. In fact, she was known to wear her K-State gear around campus while attending KU.
This isn’t Becky’s first rodeo with KSNT, either. She first joined the Storm Track team in May of 2015, but took some time off to raise her two daughters. She’s very happy to be helping out again on the weekends, and has been back on-air since July 2019.
During her free time, Becky helps to run a small farm with her husband. They raise their own meat, grow their own produce, and harvest honey and beeswax from their honey bees. She also enjoys baking and cooking farm-to-table meals for her family and friends.
