You’ll see Gabriella Gomez on air as part of our KSNT Storm Track weather team and also in the field reporting on local news that matters in Northeast Kansas.
Gabriella was terrified of thunderstorms when she was younger, but learned to appreciate them after doing a research project in her high school physics class
After graduating from Olathe North High School, Gabriella attended The University of Kansas majoring in Atmospheric Science with a focus in News Media Forecasting and a minor in Journalism. Gabriella also participated in the Marching Jayhawks throughout her college career, which is the University’s marching band at KU.
Gabriella started her career at KSNT in May 2019, the same day a tornado hit near Lawrence. Prior to working at KSNT, she interned at Fox 4 in Kansas City.
In her free time, Gabriella loves to visit family in Emporia, where she was born, and the Kansas City area. She also loves to shop and spend time with her friends.
