James Ryan joined the KSNT News team in December 2016 as a multimedia journalist.
James was born and raised in Abilene, Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University with two degrees in mass communications and theatre.
He began his career in Lawrence in October 2015 as a reporter for Channel 6 News, specializing in crime, court and politics. Now, James has taken his love for politics to KSNT News.
While he’s focused on the statehouse, James is open to any story with community impact. He looks forward to getting to know the area more while continuing his career here in Topeka.
