Molly Patt currently anchors, reports, and produces FOX 43 News at 9:00 p.m. on KTMJ. You can also find her reporting and filling in on the anchor desk for evening broadcasts on KSNT and KTKA.
She grew up in the land of 10,000 lakes in Minnesota spending time on the water, swimming competitively, playing basketball, and coaching Special Olympics. After graduating high school, Molly Patt moved to Kansas to become a Jayhawk.
While at the University of Kansas, Molly Patt was the president of her sorority, volunteered with Girl Scouts of the USA, Prevent Child Abuse of America, and double majored in Journalism with a focus in broadcast and Communication Studies with a concentration on rhetoric.
She started at KSNT in May of 2017 as a multimedia journalist and later anchored the weekend evening newscasts; progressing to anchoring, reporting and producing the daily FOX newscast.
Molly Patt has had the opportunity to cover an abundance of stories from Governor Laura Kelly’s election to the rise in blue-green algae infesting our ponds and lakes.
