Reina is a Topeka native. She graduated from Topeka High School where she went on to play volleyball at Coffeyville Community College and later at Jackson State University in Mississippi. After stepping away from volleyball to focus more on journalism, she transferred to Kansas State University where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications.
Reina is excited to start her career in her hometown. She’s looking forward to telling the stories of the people in the community.
In her free time, Reina loves watching sports — especially her beloved Pittsburg Steelers. She also enjoys traveling and going to concerts.
