Atticus is a six-year-old ragdoll mix. He’s just a handsome boy that loves relaxing and getting head scratches. He even gets along great with other cats. You can sometimes find him snuggling his feline roommates at Helping Hands Humane Society.
Bosco is an Australian cattledog mix that is little over a year old. His breed is known to be very energetic, so Bosco would do well with an active family that wouldn’t mind going on daily walks with him. Bosco is a very social boy, but it would still be best to bring in the whole family to meet him first.
Ginger is a two-year-old pitbull mix. She’s a smart girl that even knows a couple of tricks, like “sit” and “down”. She loves to show affection to people and soft, squeaky toys.
Ginger may steal your heart, just like a different pitbull stole the heart of Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. In honor of the Chiefs’ playoff game this Saturday, Helping Hands Humane Society will be running an adoption special surrounding Mahomes’ number, 15.
“All of the dog adoption fees, except high profile pets, are going to be 115 dollars, and then our senior dogs are going to 15 dollars, and then all of our cats are on special for 15 dollars as well,” said Michelle McCart, Adoption Counselor at Helping Hands Humane Society.
The “Finding Homes with Mahomes” adoption special will be held at Helping Hands Humane Society this Saturday from 11:30 am until 5 pm. Helping Hands Humane Society will even have the Chiefs playoff game playing on their TVs, so you don’t have to worry about missing out out on any of the action while adopting.
