Noble is a three-month-old pitbull mix puppy. Don’t let his sweet face deceive you though, this pup has plenty of pep in his step. He loves toys of all kinds, and he even knows a couple of simple commands like “sit”. Noble has been patiently waiting for his forever home since March 28th.
Princess Leia has also been on the look out for a new family since March 28th. She’s a five-year-old dachshund and boxer mix. She’s a sweet girl that’s always up for a short walk, and even occasionally likes to play fetch with a tennis ball. However, Princess Leia would do best in a home without small children.
Skinner is a one-year-old domestic longhair mix. Skinner may have a bit of a grumpy face at times, but he really is a friendly boy.
“He is a very sweet, lovable cat, but now he wants to walk around. But I think he’ll be a great family pet for anybody,” said Abby Allen, adoption counselor at Helping Hands Humane Society. ” He likes other cats, but he’s not a fan of dogs. So if you have dogs at home, he’s not the right fit.”
Skinner is grateful for the warm bed he has at the shelter, but he’s clearly ready to walk off into the arms of his new forever family.
If you’re interested in adopting any of these pets, Helping Hands Humane Society in Topeka is still running their “Game of Homes” adoption special. For full details on that adoption special, click here.
