Hy-Vee’s seafood program promotes sustainable, responsibly managed seafood

Ken Sanford, seafood manager at Topeka’s Hy-Vee, says the grocery chain is gearing up for its annual crab promotion featuring Wild Alaska King and Alaska Snow Crab. Sanford says 100 percent of Hy-Vee’s seafood items are “responsible sourced,” which means they only sell seafood that’s safe for consumption and harvested or raised in a manner so that future generations can enjoy it as well.
