Mercury will be visible gliding across the face of the sun on Monday, Nov. 11

Brenda Culbertson, local NASA ambassador, explains Monday’s Mercury transit, which is when Mercury is visible as a small dot gliding across the face of the sun. This only happens about 13 times per century with the next one expected in 2032. Culbertson cautions against looking at the sun without the proper eye protection.
