3 positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Shawnee County

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – The Shawnee County Health Department announced Wednesday three positive cases of COVID-19 in the county.

SCHD Director Linda Ochs said the patients are a 70-year old woman, a 23-year-old man and a 73-year-old man. Two of the patients traveled out of state. One of the patients has no travel history.

A Stormont Vail spokesperson confirmed the 70-year-old woman and 23-year-old man tested positive at the hospital and both have traveled out of state.

The 73-year-old man tested positive at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus. A hospital spokesperson said the man had no travel history.
