By the numbers: Kansas seeing more than 800 new coronavirus cases per day

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Kansas is seeing more than 800 new coronavirus cases each day for the first time since the pandemic started. That’s according to a 14 day rolling average.

The state’s also averaging 12 deaths a day and 32 new hospitalizations a day.

Of the more than 1,000 deaths in the state, 83% of them are people 65 and older.
