Geary County Sheriff’s Office closes due to ‘COVID-19 issue’

GEARY COUNTY, Kan. (KSNT) – The Geary County Sheriff’s Office closed their office early Tuesday because of a “COVID-19 Issue.”

In observance of Thanksgiving the office was scheduled to be closed Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27. However, the lobby will close early according to a social media post from the sheriff, and won’t reopen until Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 at 8 a.m.
