TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) — Governor Laura Kelly gave a coronavirus update Monday afternoon.

Since Sept. 11, the state has seen 1,513 more positive coronavirus cases in addition to 23 new deaths.

Gov. Kelly reminded Kansans that it is more important than ever to get a flu shot this year. She also said she sees no reason to go back to a state-wide quarantine order unless something unforeseen happens.

Kansas has 48,794 positive cases and 537 deaths, according to the Reno County Health Department.
