Christina Reis is the Weekend Meteorologist for KSNT News. She joined the KSNT Storm Track Weather Team in June of 2016. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Meteorology, with a second major in Broadcasting/Mass Communications, from the State University of New York at Oswego in May of 2016. Let’s go Lakers!
Christina grew up smack dab in the middle of lake effect snow country in a suburb outside of Buffalo, NY. A fascination for weather developed at a young age. Her family would call her their “little weather girl” as she would sit and watch The Weather Channel for hours on end.
Her love of all things weather took her to the State University of New York at Oswego, just north of Syracuse, NY. During her time at SUNY Oswego, she was selected to spend the winter of 2014 studying lake effect snow patterns as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Ontario Winter Lake-effect Systems (OWLeS) project.
In her free time, Christina loves to cheer on her hometown Buffalo Bills, but she saves the loudest cheers for her beloved Buffalo Sabres. When she’s not relaxing at home with her cat, Jameson, you may catch her around northeast Kansas gazing up at the skies.
