The owner of a tourist boat that sank in a Missouri Lake, killing 17 people, reached another settlement on Tuesday.
The boat sank during a storm in July at Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri.
Family members of several of the victims filed federal lawsuits claiming the captain of the boat shouldn’t have been on the water that day.
Lawyers for two Indiana brothers on board said they reached a settlement this week. Attorneys for a Missouri family reached a settlement in November. Other lawsuits are still pending.
