East squad prepares for 45th Kansas Shrine Bowl

EMPORIA (KSNT) – The 45th edition of the Kansas Shrine Bowl is Saturday night at Pittsburg State University. Throughout the past two weeks, the East and West teams have been practicing in Emporia and Salina in preparation for the annual high school all-star showcase.

The event has been able to raise more than $2 million dollars for Shriner’s Hospitals for Children over the past four-and-a-half decades.

Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
