The FBI wants your help solving two local robberies they believe are related.

They happened at Advanced America Cash Loan stores in Topeka and Lawrence.

They are offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the people responsible.

The first robbery happened in late February at the Lawrence location and the second robbery happened in North Topeka in late March.

The suspect is described as male, light-skinned African American, with a tall, thin, athletic build.

The suspect wore a black zip-up sweatshirt with a hood over his head in both robberies.

He approached the service counter with a pistol pointed at the clerks.

The suspect was also seen fleeing from the scene in a black Acura SUV.

Anyone with information about any of these robberies is asked to call the Topeka FBI office at 785-231-1700 or the Topeka or Lawrence Police Departments.
