Happy cheers roared from the locker room as the Kansas State University Men’s Basketball team celebrated their win against the University of Kentucky. 

K-State’s sports media team posted a video on their Facebook after their win showing the players and coaches celebrating with Mr. K-State himself, Ernie Barrett.

The All-American played for the Wildcats from 1947 to 1951. Back in 1951, when Barrett played on the team, K-State lost to Kentucky in the National Championship game.

Redemption is sweet.
