FULL INTERVIEW: Beach Boys’ Mike Love ready for Topeka performance

The co-founder of the Beach Boys plans to perform special material, including a Beatles tribute, at the Topeka Performing Arts Center.

Singer and songwriter Mike Love said the band’s May 7 concert at TPAC will feature favorites from the early 60’s all the way to his 2017 solo album “Unleash the Love.” He also plans to unleash a tribute to the late Beatles’ guitarist, George Harrison, called “Pisces Brothers.”

The concert is part of the group’s national “Now and Then” tour. There are still tickets available at the TPAC Box Office, and online at Ticketmaster.com
