Ice to blame for crash that kills Manhattan woman


Ice and snow are to blame for a crash that killed a Manhattan woman Wednesday morning. 

Ann Marie Lochner, 67, from Manhattan died after her Chevy Blazer landed in a ravine in Pottawatomie County. 

It happened just before 7 a.m. Wednesday morning. 

Lochner was going south on Elbo Ridge Dr. when her SUV left the road because of snow and ice.

Her vehicle landed on its top in a ravine, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. 

Lochner was wearing her seatbelt, according to KHP. 

No other cars or vehicles were invovled in the crash.
