The big story in college basketball lately has been the three point line. The NCAA is moving it back an inch and three quarters. KSNT Sports caught up with Bruce Weber at the Catbacker event in Topeka Thursday night to get his thoughts on the change.
“I’m glad we didn’t go to the NBA line,” says Weber. “I think that’s a little bit far for our age group. I know that even though a year from now some will have to do that, they have that opportunity, but I think we’ll adjust. I think the big thing is they want to allow some space, and they feel if you got it another nine inches on both sides gets the defenders a little bit away from the lane, allow more space to drive.”
