Jayhawks Big 12 title streak ends vs. Oklahoma

The Kansas Jayhawks streak of 14 straight Big 12 titles offically ended Tuesday night in an 81-68 loss to Oklahoma.

The Sooners opened the game on a 26-9 run and the Jayhawks could never recover.

The loss drops KU to 11-6 in the Big 12 and 22-8 overall. With the loss, Kansas cannot finish any better than third in the Big 12.

Dedic Lawson had 18 points and 11 rebounds in the loss while David McCormack added a career-high 18 points.

The Jayhawks close out Big 12 play Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse against Baylor.
