The #14 ranked Kansas Jayhawks defeated TCU 82-77 in overtime on Monday night improving to 8-4 in the Big 12 and 19-6 overall. It’s the 13th straight Big Monday win for Kansas.
The Jayhawks trailed by two with less than a minute to play when K.J. Lawson scored the game tying basket with 24 seconds remaining to force overtime.
With just over a minute to play in overtime, Lawson gave Kansas the lead 76-74 and the Jayhawks held on for the five point victory. Lawson scored 10 points in the game.
Freshman Devon Dotson led the way with 25 points and 10 rebounds while Ochai Agbaji added 20 points.
Dedric Lawson fouled out with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Quentin Grimes and Mitch Lightfoot also fouled out in the game.
The Jayhawks return to action on Saturday when West Virginia comes to Allen Fieldhouse.
