K-State researcher faces trial on police shooting

A jury has been selected for the man accused of shooting and injuring a Riley County police officer. Mark Harrison was a research associate at K-State. He is charged with shooting an officer in the leg back in January 2018.

Harrison is facing three counts of attempted capital murder and one count of felony criminal damage to property.  He will go to trial Wednesday. The trial is expected to end in March
