K-State’s Thompson impressing new offensive coordinator

There’s no quarterback controversy at K-State this season. Skylar Thompson is the Wildcats’ starter and his new offensive coordinator Courtney Messingham likes what he sees so far.

“Skylar’s done a great job of putting it into our terminology, not we he used to do, not what it used to be, this is what it is, and that’s why in my mind he’s done such a good job in a short time frame of being a good leader cause he’s trying to help everybody learn who we are, not who it used to be or what it is, it’s who we are as a whole group,” said Messingham.

Thompson and the Wildcats will have their spring game on April 13th.
