The Kansas attorney general’s office is reviewing a rural western Kansas death.

The Hays Post reports that Alexis Garcia died at a residence in Plainville. Kansas attorney general spokeswoman Jennifer Montgomery says the Rooks County Attorney sought the agency’s help. Authorities have reported no arrests and released no additional details early Tuesday. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation also is assisting in the case.

The Rooks County Sheriff’s Office referred questions to the AG’s office, which didn’t immediately return a phone message from The Associated Press seeking more details. The KBI also didn’t immediately return phone messages from the AP.
