TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Washburn University is giving people a trip to the past this weekend. They will be hosting the Kansas Silent Film Festival tonight and tomorrow. The festival is free to the public and takes place at White Concert Hall on Washburn’s campus. The silent films will be accompanied by live music, just like when they first aired decades ago.
The festival runs from 7-11 pm Friday and Saturday from 8 in the morning until 11 at night.
A full list of films to be shown at the festival can be found here.
