HAYS, Kan. (KSNT) – A truck fire about five miles west of Hays on I-70 eastbound forced traffic to be diverted off the interstate Tuesday morning.
Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Tod Hileman said traffic was diverted at Ellis to Old Highway 40 for a time.
Traffic on I-70 is now open.
